Fr. Philander Pinalgan, SVD recently
had his thanksgiving mass in Mayoyao, Province of Ifugao. He is joined by his
classmates in the Saksi Class who were ordained priests last December 7, 2013
at the Holy
Spirit Chapel of the Divine Word Seminary in Tagaytay City with the Bishop of
Sorsogon, Bishop Arturo Bastes, SVD, DD as the ordaining prelate.

Present
during the occasion was Fr. Emil Pati, SVD, the Provincial Superior of the
Northern Province who wished Fr. Philander good health and blessings of peace
as he will soon venture in his first mission assignment: Africa.

It
has been the custom of the ordained Divine Word Missionaries to return to their
home province to celebrate their thanksgiving masses together with their kababayans and parishioners. His other
classmates will also celebrate their thanksgiving masses.
