The
Seven Churches Visitation also
known as Visita Iglesia is a
pious Roman Catholic Lenten tradition by attempting to visit seven churches or
religious sites. Traditionally observed on Maundy Thursday, it is commonly practiced
during any day of the Holy Week.
Led
by their parish priest Ed Orpilla, SVD, the St. Arnold Janssen Shrine Parish of
Cainta, Rizal opted to visit Laguna this year. This has been an annual
observance of the Worship Committee of the parish.
“I
felt so blest,” exclaimed Beth Yanquiling, one of the Divine Word Lectors who
has served the parish faithfully even before it became a parish.
