Last March 27, 2014, the ABOT - ALAM Memorandum of Understanding was already signed at DepEd. It envisions ZERO OSY (out of school youth) by providing education (ALS and skills), employment and entrepreneurship. Seen on the photos are Secretary of Education Armin Luistro, Fr. Jerome Marquez, SVD who represented the Arnold Janssen Catholic Mission Foundation, and other government and private agencies.

Fr. Jerome Marquez, SVD is the executive director of the Arnold Janssen Catholic Mission Foundation Inc. AJCMFI is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating dropouts, illiterates and indigenous people. Started in 2002, it aims to help create a society free from “ignorance, poverty and sinfulness.” It envisions a society of individuals that are conscious of their rights and responsibilities, enhanced social awareness, and spiritually renewed in order to contribute to the attainment of a holistic social transformation, that is, to achieve the fullness of life.
